I’ve recently made my HA Internet facing with DuckDNS and NGiNX. Yes, I know I shouldn’t do this but I take as many precautions as I can…including enabling “ip_ban”.
Unfortunately, this has the habit of banning my own ip, I suspect when various devices under my ip fail to login 3 times.
Question is, is there any way to whitelist my own ip, given that it is not static, so I would need to specify a range? I’ve seen one or 2 workarounds, but nothing that will work for an ip range.
