Avoiding accidental turn offs when using voice

This is a daft one to which I suspect there isn’t really an answer, but I thought I’d ask to see what ideas come out.

We use voice control a lot (thru Google) particularly to turn lights on and off, usually independently but sometimes as a group (e.g. lounge).

Once in a while the dreaded response comes back “Turning off 97 things” which means it’s misinterpreted the voice command and loads of stuff turns off. I find it funny, my partner finds it annoying!! The 97 things are just those consciously exposed to Google so it is mostly limited to non-essential lights and switches.

I have no idea whether or how it’s possible to avoid this - the best I can come up with is to watch for a command which turns off more than x items (how?) and somehow throw a warning or require a confirmation before doing it maybe? But that could be clumsy.

As an aside, I do have an automation which goes round every 5 minutes and checks the status of the critical items (in particular fridges) and turns them on if off (and sends reporting).

Any ideas?
