I’m trying to do everything in the GUI these days rather than build endlessly long configuration.yaml files.
Anyway, I have created a history sensor to measure the total time I’m spending sat in the office. That works.
However, I’m trying to get that presented in a bar chart using the statistics graph. There is no “state” available. According to the documentation, the state_class needs to be changed from measurement to total_increasing, but I can find no way to do this.
AI has been no help. I’ve tried re-creating the history sensor with no sight of any option to select the state class.
I’m up against the wall on this and would be grateful for help.
