I’ve recently installed a Reolink RLC-520A and am learning a lot about security cameras - it’s my first one.
I have the Reolink integration installed and working. But after all my reading and learning I seem to have gone in a bit of a loop and am not actually using it!
As per the subject, I have no SD card or PVR so, I’ve configured my camera to upload to one of my servers with FTP. I’ve made the directory where it uploads a “library” in Jellyfin and browse uploaded videos that way. I can see, and change, the camera configuration in Home Assistant and I can open the streams - but this really serves no purpose. I have made test automations to use the various detection state changes just to be sure they work.
What I’m wondering is - would it be possible/feasible to configure the server that stores the uploaded videos so that it looks like a Reolink PVR to the Reolink automation so the uploaded videos are browseable under Media->Reolink? If that could be done, then I assume I could build rich notifications, with links to the videos, like in the Reolink integration setup document?
