Its that time of year when your just not sure whether to put the heating on or not.
Im using Schedy to control my heating, I have a 2 sensors in the lounge that I get an average from and the heating will turn down by 1deg if we are out, returning back to the schedule when we return.
But times like this morning when the lounge was measuring warm enough, it just felt a bit cool and I had to manual turn the heating up ½ deg as a boost. If we were in the middle of winter the setting would have been fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on this like some clever algorithm or additional sensors that can be added and taken into account when setting the temperature, the weather sensor maybe, was wondering what others do to get over this.
Ive seen some people use different schedules for different times of the year which is an idea, but not sure how one would automate selecting a different schedule as the seasons are so unpredictable.
Would love to know how others overcome this, its been bugging me for years.
