Good day,
In my home theater, I’ve been looking around for many way to display what is playing right now… so far, I’ve tried the regular media-control card, the mini-media-player card, the now-playing-card card… and while all of those are wonderful, I would need to have the icon (or picture) of what is playing without having the card to resize everytime it changes picture.
For instance, when idle, the media-control card won’t show a picture, but when it detects that something is playing, all cards underneath will get pushed down in order to show the picture of what is playing. I really wish there is a way to reserve that location so it never dynamically move.
The one that is very close to acheive what I need is the now-playing-card card. This card does a very good job by allowing to show an image when the player is idle. The only problem I have is depending of the image, the space allowed to the image will adjust, and all cards underneath will move either up or down, depending if the image place-holder expands or shinks.
At the end of the day, I would like to have a Lovelace interface that won’t ever have scroll bars, and becuse of the dynamic resizing, there are situations where scroll bars will appear.
Any ideas of how what I can do?
Thanks!
