I was using Tado integration with great success until, yesterday, I’ve changed the entity name of by bridge from “sensor.casa_tadoconfiguredname_tado_bridge_status” to “sensor.tado_bridge”. Then I had to shutdown due to electicity cut off (I was installing new Shelly devices).
When I turned on electricity my hass Raspberry Pi4 started before internet was on. I’ve received a notify of Tado not initializing correctly.
So I restarted hass after internet was on again.
I don’t know if it was due to having renamed the entity or due to start without internet, Tado integration duplicate all my tado related entities with a same name and “_2” at the end!!! Terrible!!! Furthermore Tado integration recreated the “sensor.casa_tadoconfiguredname_tado_bridge_status” entity.
The problem is that I cannot delete new one and old one as Home Assistant say that I cannot delete entities used by integrations!
What can I do to clean the mess? Should I remove the tado integration, reboot and remove all the entities and enable again the integration and reboot to recreate them?But, more important, what should I NOT due to prevent such a big mess in the future?!?!?
