Hi fellow automators
I have a recurring problem with my Zigbee entities. I have 5 Xiaomi Aqara multisensors and the same number of Aqara window/door sensors. I also have some IKEA Tradfri on/off switches, an IKEA motion sensor and a few light bulbs. All these entities are connected with HA using the deConz and a ConBee connected to the Raspberry Pi 3 via an extension cable. I am using the latest version of HA (0.106 at the moment I write this). The problem is: every time I reboot the Pi, do a HA system update or unplug the power to the PI, all the entities mentioned above become unreachable. And they don´t seem to become reachable even after waiting for some time. The solution I have found is that all the entities has to be added in deConz again (in other words, walking around and pressing buttons on each and every entity…), but this is obviously very annoying. And compared to z-wave, which works flawlessly after reboots etc., it makes the Zigbee stuff seem a bit…fragile?
Is this a known problem when using Zigbee equipment? And if so, do any of you have a good solution? Is z-wave generally considered to be a more stable solution?
I am still pretty new to this home automation business, so any help here is much appreciated.
