Change path to lovelace dashboard files

can we move the dashboard file locations out of the /config directory at all? Dashboards - Home Assistant Ive tried experimenting with eg

lovelace:
  mode: yaml
  resources: !include /config/lovelace/resources.yaml
  dashboards:

    ui-settings:
      mode: yaml
      filename: ui-settings.yaml
      title: Change settings
      icon: mdi:tools

is what I have but for cleaning up the /config folder Id love tone able to do something like:

    ui-settings:
      mode: yaml
      filename: lovelace/ui-settings.yaml
      title: Change settings
      icon: mdi:tools

but get an unknown error
