Mqtt broker and mqtt autodiscovery share the same key on config

This is obviously not possible and you can not merge the properties or the config validator will complain that xxx property is not allowed on mqtt discovery or the other way around. So, if I want to turn on auto-discovery and to connect to the mqtt broker, how should I proceed?
