I’m attempting to set up the Mikrotik integration to enable presence detection based on, eg, when my phone joins or leaves my network. I’ve sucessfully enabled the integration, and it shows the expected wifi clients as entities. However, (almost) all of these entities have status “disabled”, and show as “disabled by integration”, an I’m not able to select them or any of their properties to use in automations.
The only exception is a tplink wifi powerboard that is also mapped by the hass integration for tplink, and the associated device from the tp-link integration is also tagged under the Mikrotik integration - and gains a property for triggers/conditions for “is at home”.
Is this the expected way for the mikrotik integration to work, and - if so - can I get it to do presence detection based on a device like my android phone that isn’t covered by any other integration?
As a side question, I’m also curious about why my several lifx bulbs aren’t picked up by the mikrotik integration in the same way as the tplink powerboard? ISTM they’re only marginally less likely to leave my house
