How to use the on_...: then: statement

hi all,
how can I create switches using
output:
on_…:
then:
statement?
I have a pipsolar inverter and will like to create switches/automations for the following output statement:

output:
  - platform: pipsolar
    pipsolar_id: inverter0
   **charger_source_priority** (*Optional*): charger source priority;
   **possible_values** (*Optional*, list): a list of possible values default: 0,1,2,3
