I have a honeywell single thermostat sitting in timezone UTC+1 (UK). I have a HA system in UK and one in Oz UTC+10. They check on each other and manage the heating system in UK.
My problem is that the integration is a little confused when faced with HA in one timezone and the Honeywell system in another.
There is one odd characteristic and one problem I would like fixed. The problem I want to resolve is that when the OZ HA system sets a temporary temperature override the ‘status/setpoint status/until’ is set incorrectly. It uses the current time to look up when the next scheduled temp change takes place and set the ‘until’ to that date/time.
BUT it is using the local date/time (OZ) to look it up - looking through the scheduled times in UK timezone date/time.The other side effect of timezones is that the OZ system shows ‘this set point’ and ‘next set point’ date/times using the same incorrect strategy. See spreadsheet image below showing the problem.
Any chance of a fix?
