My Home Assistant is up and running and is working just fine. I don’t have any performance problems or complaints. I have not changed anything in my base configuration so I assume I’m using the build in database that comes with Home Assistant.
Should I be using a “real” database? I want my Home Assistant to be long term stable and be able to run long term. I have read some mention of people moving to a “real” database instead of the built in one but I’m not sure what that involves and if I should even consider it.
I do have the MariaDB add on installed which I think I needed for the Bookstack add on to use.
Thanks,
