Hi,
I tried to change an ID on an entity by changing the name and using the functionality of selecting the check box to alter the entity ID when changing the name of the entity. I thought this would create a ‘new’ entity with the new entity ID. This did not happen.
Instead the ‘old’ entity was still there and the ‘new’ appeared as entries in the entity list all named ‘updated_state’. Now none of the entieis work.
I then went ahead and deleted the entity from zigbee2MQTT and that at first I thought that did the trick. But then I noticed that the the device is still insted in the devices page but not present in teh ‘entities’ page.
Is the device removed or not? How can I remove it from the device list? (why is it displayed on the device page when it is not existing in the entities list?)
