I am a bit stuck in the middle of TP-Link, Home Assistant, Docker and Portainer.
I have 12 devices from TP-Link Kasa (HS200, HS210, HS220, HS103) they all installed with no issues.
Today I wanted to add a switch HS200, it is working well in the Kasa App, I can ping its IP and it is on the same network as the others but unable to add to Home Assistant, entering the IP shows Fail to connect and trying to auto detect doesn’t find it.
I have reset, re-installed, restarted, power cycled the HS200
I also have restarted HA and restarted the computer hosting it.
The difference between this switch the the others, it has Hardware Version 5.26 and firmware 1.0.2 while the others have HV 5.0 with FW 1.0.11.
This leads me to think I should be updating my version of Home Assistant which is showing as core 2023.11.0
A while back (about a year ago) I setup Home Assistant on Docker with Portainer because it looked like the simplest solution but I pretty much lost control because I can’t figure out how to upgrade without loosing my HA configurations.
Anyone can help me get past this?
By confirming if I should be updating HA or by figuring out why the HS200 is not detecting.
