I recently installed solar and connected the Deye inverter to HA using the Solarman Integration and got appx 55 entities. I then added the Inverter to the Energy dashboard and it seems like it’s working fine. I am still a novice about solar systems so I still have a few questions:

I want to create a simple automation to inform me when the grid goes down. Also, we have 3-phase power here and sometimes the grid doesn’t cut completely off, but just down to a single phase. Which sensors would I need to monitor for either of these situations?

I am connecting the inverter via its built-in WiFi. I saw some people here are using a RS485->USB interface. Is there any advantages to using this vs WiFi?

Are there any recommended dashboards or alternate integrations I should check out?
