Hi there.
Just to say I’m pretty new to HA and just made my Setup - i’m not a programmer.
I want to:
- Let HA check my Phone Battery State (to be unplugged)
- put some rules like just in the morning between two times
- Set my Philips Hue Livingroom Room/Zone to a preset Scene.
I really have no understanding right now between automations/actions/scenes/Blueprints etc.
What i did:
- Set up my iPhone Companion App with the right Settings for Sensors
- Setup iOS Short-Command to send Sensor Updates immediately to HA
I think i’m able to do:
- Set Parameters (“if yes” etc.) as define Times, Delay etc.
- Find the right settings for my Hue System
I fail with:
- Make an Automation or something else, because i can’t find a Trigger for Battery Sttate “not chraging” in the Dropdown under Devices=>my Phone, i only find things like Count Steps, leave Area and so on.
So i really would appreciate if someone can show me a way to use my Battery State (on my iPhone) as the Trigger.
I thought it will appear in the Dropdown Menu of my Device=>iPhone after i Setup the Sensors aloud to send it from iOS to HA und thought it could help to set the Sensor Updating thing in my Shortcuts. I failed…
I really have no knowlege about yaml right now!
