So I run Razberry and Home-Assistant in a Python Virtual Environment on a RPi4 today. I have about 60 Z-wave units around my house. And I think the setup is SLOW especialy when restarting. And I have to restart it at least once a day. I have removed all other units like IKEA, Hue, 433 MHz and so on to a Virtual Mashine in VMWare, to ease the load of the RPi.
In the closet I have a Vera Plus that I’m not using.
I would like to try if that is a faster controller for my Z-wave network.I figuered out that Z-way is able to set up the Vera Plus as a seconadary controller and then transfer that to the master and remove the Razberry as controller.
First question is if anyone know how I should do this the easiest way? Is it possible within HA to transfer the controll of all my Z-wave units to Vera Plus, or is it possible to set up Z-way on my RPi thats running HA and the Razberry card, and that way transfer all Z-wave units? Or are there any other smart way to transfer all z-wave units without doing the hard job of excluding and including all units again?
Any sugestions and decriptions would be helpful. And as much details as possible are welcome!
Is there a topic about this problem that I have missed, please direct me to it!Regards Peter!
